The Maryland Unified Licensees Beverage Association is a non-profit trade association of minority retail beverage alcohol licensees located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Our members consist of restaurants, clubs, hotels, lounges, package goods stores, sports bars, private clubs, corporate owned and independent operators, retailers and wholesalers, in association with industry partners and related businesses.

Mission

MULBA supports the economic growth, prosperity and stability of the licensed beverage, hospitality and entertainment industries by sustaining, guarding, and fortifying the rights of minority-owned retail beverage alcohol licensees through legislative activism, communication, education, training opportunities, and member services.

MULBA promotes the establishment of friendly relations and partnering opportunities between members of the association, representatives of the beer, wine and liquor industries, associated businesses, the legislature, and the community.

Approach

	Vigorously represent industry interests regarding local, regional and national legislative initiatives.
	Conduct a yearly regional trade show and exhibition to educate retailers about new industry strategies, introduction of new products, and creation and strengthening of relations between exhibitors and customers.
	Provide education scholarships for young adults interested in a hospitality-related industry.
	Support the 3-tier system (manufacturer/wholesaler/retailer).
	Support charitable activities that educate and benefit the association and community regarding the responsible sale of beverage alcohol by lawful and legitimate business owners.
