MULBA Events

Throughout MULBA’s more than 40 year history, the organization has support its members by conducting training seminars, hosting its annual trade show, and representing our interests at the annual convention. We support the community by participating in food and clothing drives, contributing to various community-based initiatives, and in recent years, sponsoring an annual college scholarship program.

For 26 years, MULBA’s trade show has been the premiere minority-owned beverage licensees hospitality trade show in the region. Owners, managers and employees from across the Mid-Atlantic participate and are introduced to new alcohol-beverage brands and other industry-related products.

The national convention is attended by minority licensees located throughout the United States. Attendees participate in educational seminars, plan new initiatives, conduct organization business, network with fellow licensees, and share unique experiences from a minority licensee prospective.

Since 2000, the MULBA Scholarship Program has assisted ten (10) students with their college education. Scholarship recipients, after completing an application process and thorough consideration of their academic status, are screened by the Scholarship Committee. The final selectees are awarded scholarships that may be used for college-related expenses at the school of their choice.
